Registrations for the 2020 Optimist Brain Bowl Central Region Tournament will open on October 1, 2020.

The Central Region Optimist Brain Bowl Tournament serves the Denver metro area school districts and to the east. (Jeffco Schools are considered part of the North Region.) Grand County schools are also included in the Central Region. Although there are three different Brain Bowl tournaments held in the Colorado-Wyoming area, schools are assigned to a specific region in order to create the most fair and consistent competitions. Private schools and home-school teams are assigned to the same regional tournament as public school district in which theschool/ team resides. Teams/schools may NOT select the tournament in which they wish to participate. NO exceptions!

Coaches should print a copy of the rules and become familiar with the qualifications for teams moving on to the Championship Tournament. The Coaches Guide has been added to help coaches through registration and tournament day procedures. The Competition Rules have information on how teams are selected in the event of a tie.

The top 6 teams in each grade competition at the Central Region Tournament will be invited to compete at the Colorado-Wyoming Optimist Brain Bowl Championship Tournament to be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hamilton Middle School in Denver.
