In order to register for the Championship Tournament, your team must qualify by placing 1st-9th place in your competition level at one of the two regional Optimist Brain Bowl tournaments.
It is possible that you will receive a special invitation to participate if one of the teams that placed ahead of your team is unable to participate in the Championship Tournament. Please make sure that you receive an official invitation from Optimist Brain Bowl before registering for the Championship Tournament if your team placed 10th place or higher.
Championship Qualification
All teams that compete in the Championship tournament must qualify at one of the two regional tournaments. Teams qualify by ranking 1st-9th Place in their competition level at their Optimist Brain Bowl Regional Tournament.
Teams should make sure their registration is completed and paid within one week of qualifying for the Championship Tournament.
Teams that qualify but are unable to compete in the Championship Tournament must notify the tournament director within one week of their regional tournament in order that the 10th place team in their tournament/level can be notified and invited.

Every Optimist Brain Bowl Tournament is structured the same way. Teams, parents and bus drivers should use this schedule to plan their tournament day.
Competition Rules
Teams should practice for the Optimist Brain Bowl using the Competition Rules.
Protest Procedures
Teams and coaches should become with Protest Procedures. Protests that cannot be resolved quickly during the round should be taken to the Protest Room using the official Protest Form.
Protest Resolution Sheet
Teams must submit their team roster no later than the Wednesday, 3pm before the tournament (Monday if the tournament is virtual). Coaches should not submit the form before they are emailed the “Call for Rosters.”
